It does not appear on the impacted list of approximately 350 comics.

It does however reveal the same characteristic traits whereby the book inside the holder, bearing the same certification number throughout, is noticed as changing after it reappears for sale, and passes through the seller alleged to have tampered with CGC comics, as per CGC's lawsuit (Certified Guaranty Company, LLC v. ZANELLO et al).

Diagram 1 shows the comparison between a retrospective and current comparables summary, as well as averaging that is used to arrive at a Fair Market Value (FMV) and Replacement Value (RV).

Diagram 2 provides comparisons and information used to arrive at the determination of past sales where observed changes occurred.

Due to the nature of this scandal, it cannot be determined if the current book inside the holder is accurately graded after it's apparent swap, however both the FMV and RV noted above do reflect what an Daredevil 1 CGC 8.5 should be valued at for each respective valuation method.

Due to the market fluctuations experienced from the time this book was originally purchased in 2018 from the seller alleged to have been involved in swapping and tampering with CGC holders, as well as the dynamics of a tampered holder requiring customers be compensated, it is recommended that a RV figure noted above be used for a more comprehensive approach to redress and compensation.
